eGGe!! I wish he would push it around more often though, mostly just barks at it and expects me to kick it. It has marks on it but not even 1/2 through the plastic, he'll play with it and drag it (hikes it threw his legs) along the concrete.

I don't know about you guys, but my dogs LOVE anything that squeaks! I keep Kong Wubba's around the house, along with JW Ruffian products. They are durable, and squeak.

Zu has been chasing a huge sunripe plastic juice jug around the yard for days,he is obsesed and it has held up very well.sometimes you have to laugh, its like when you buy your kids a gift and they just want to play in the box

The best toys that I have gotten for Socrates are the KONG, the KONG Wubba (Oh man does he love that thing),

Sasha goes absolutely bonkers when she gets a new Wubba. She's on her 3rd right now. The 1st was a blue nylon one, she started by chewing the floppy parts on in two (while she was doing that she punctures big ball that's in it) then she proceeds to peel it open until she destroys the tennis ball in there and can rip both of the balls out.

2nd one was a Snugga Wubba (the fleecy one) that lasted about 1/2 as long as the blue nylon one.

The one she has now is the red nylon one and so far she's just punctured the big ball and chewed the end off on of the floppy parts. I kept the big ball from the Snugga Wubba after it went in the trash and we still play with that in the back yard.

and the Hard Core Fire Hose Toy which he chews like a maniac. The one thing that I do have to say about the fire hose toy is Socrates tends to just chew on the corners. If your dog tries to rip his toys, I'm not sure how well it will hold up but it seems great.

If it is the same one I am thinking of then she's ripped 2 of those apart to get the squeaker out. Gave up on them.

This is the best squeak toy (for her anyway) that I have found so far. The attached pic is the brand new, still in it's packing #3, she hasn't destroyed #2 yet. This is the only squeak toy I have found for her that gets thrown out because the rubber is starting to crack yet the squeaker is still intact and squeaking:

 Sasha sounds like a determined girl! I can definitely see how she could tare the fire hose toy apart. Socrates is more into just trotting around squeaking things than he is into ripping them apart unless it is plush, then he will do anything to rip it to shreds. He doesn't try to rip it up and it has gotten some holes in the corners. Surprisingly, the wubba and the fire hose toy are the only squeaky toys he didn't rip the squeakers out of.

I think I may be investing in a squeak ball

Her toys 90% of the time are purchased with the expectation that she is going to rip them apart or chew them up. But she does not chew up anything else so they serve their purpose. With most toys that squeak (firehose, bad cuz, wubba, etc.) she wants to get that squeaker out of there.

The Bad Cuz she had about 5 minutes and one of the legs was chewed off, the ears and remaining leg were gone within the day. She chews the big ball on the Wubba until she punctures it or otherwise "kills" the squeaker. The firehose she starts on the corners until she get the stitching ripped out then proceeds to pull the insides of it out.

So far with her she hasn't been able to get the squeaker out of those balls. When one of them gets too cracked (especially around the part of it where the squeaker is) I toss it and give her a new one, then I go buy another to keep in the cabinet with her treats for the day the one she just got dies. The ball she has now she's had for about a year now, we play with it in the yard, I wash it off and toss it in her toy basket in the basement and she drags it out now and then when in the house too.

I can't say what kind of mileage your dogs will get from it but there is nothing sticking off of it they can chew on, and the squeaker seems to be more sturdy and mounted better than other toys I've had. She's even gotten her canines into the hole on it trying to get it out. So far she can't kill this one. This is the dog who has a prior record of something like:

Squeak toys: 0
Sasha: 17

Lucy loves squeaky toys, but they last about an hour (she just has to gut the toy and rip out the squeaker, then the parts hang around for a long time).

I LOVE beef knuckles. They are cheap, and last a few months here (with the Saint, the Rottie and the APBT all gnawing the crap out of it).

Yep...Scooby goes nut w/anything that squeaks.
I give him tennis balls and Kong Squeaker Balls and he loves the Kongs the others are just there for him.
He has a squeaking Duck his fav. Well two one went to have a better life  but the first one I gave him is still there. He sits on it, sleeps on it. He has two squeaking dogs and a squeaking star. He loves one of the dogs. The other and the star he likes them but just that.

My dogs have Galileo bones, they LOVE them and haven't had any problems with them. They also get Kong extremes, and the world balls (like the one the dog in Ingrid H avitar has)

Black kong is a MUST!

Has anyone been able to test the blue kongs?? Vets/Policia are only allowed to order them, so I'm curious as hell if they last longer than black kongs...

I almost had my teeth broken with a Galleo Bone. One of my dogs, not sure who, dropped one on my face while I was sleeping. Woke up in excruciating pain with both of them standing over me grinning like idiots.

OMG I am glad you were okay! We have those and they are very heavy duty! That would be terrible to have one dropped on you.

Only the red and black so far. She killed a red as a pup but her black one has been pretty durable. When you first said the "blue" one I was thinking that you meant that blue and white puppy one. She has a lot of the red rubber Kong dental chews or the Kong things that had rope in them at one time (rope died an early death, now the rubber part gets smeared with peanut butter and once it's clean it is boring and left wherever) She doesn't really care for stuff she can just sit there and chew on, she wants thing she can rip apart, if it takes some chewing/gnawing first to get there so be it. But if she's figured out it doesn't have food in it and she can't eventually tear it up she doesn't want it. Unless it squeaks.

Apparently the blue one is opaque to X-rays in case they do break it apart and eat it (don't know if the red or black can claim that).

the blue kong is supposed to be stronger and more puncture resistant... I just did a google on it to look into the x-ray thing and apparently you can buy blue kong on amazon. I will be buying one as soon as pup proves he wants to cruise through red and black kongs.

Just got this a few weeks ago and it holds treats really well and is holding up better then the red Kong ball she's torn to sunder... I recommend giving it a try and put some large biscuits in it and Brooklyn will work on it for an hour.
