I bought him advertised as an American bully but the breeder did say to me that both sire and dam are Pitbulls and that he only advertised as bullys because we live in the uk and have bullshit dog laws

He is fawn red nose with black ticking and a dark tail

Welcome to the forum. Do you have a pedigree?

I to am curious if you have a legitimate pedigree and the area you brought him from. Looking at the 2nd photo he looks a lot like a bunch of dogs I know are look a-like crossbred’s, but get peddled as pure apbt’s to the gullible. As he has a lot of their stand out characteristics.
  4. In my opinion (not worth much but you asked for it) id say he was a bully mix or amstaff mix, again probably not worth much but there it is. He does look like the type of dog joe public would label a pitbull. Maybe post more pictures from different angles its hard going by just 1 adult photo.
  5. Also just like to add that my opinion was based on your dogs markings, they seem somewhat fancy to me. Usually although not always dogs with fancy markings are bred for that reason.

Back when bullies were being developed many crossbreds were registered as pit bulls. There were a lot of fake papers floating around on a lot of mixed breed dogs.
Some of the dogs have been removed from the registery but there are still a lot of bullies, (crossbred) dogs registered as pit bulls.
