Will she ever develop those defined latissimus dorsi?

We do tons of fetch, spring pole and swimming, she is developing nice muscle but still no visible lats. Is there some other exercises I can implement or is she just not generically blessed in that area?

Targetted exercise definitely helps but genetics are also involved. It was really hard for me to visibly develop Piggy’s core, and it will never be as prominent as some dogs that are more genetically prone to it, but I do see it on her now.

I did a lot of “push ups” with her where I’d have her go from a down to a sit to an upright sit pretty and worked on tugging on the spring pole and eventually I saw results.

Tugging and spring pole is good but it only works the muscle one way. Hand walking is probably one of the best exercises for it but at the end of the day, it's still genetics.

Getting a defined sharp wind line is one of the hardest things to do imho.. Broly for some odd reason looks like a machine right now, might be because Voo was in heat and he didn't eat much but i have a little clip of him yesterday and his muscles have muscles. When i think of the term lean machine, this vid clip is what i think of.
