Alright this is directed more at the people that fancy the old times and this breed..... I've discussed this time and time again with the dog people I am familiar with.

    1. If you could pick any 2 dogs to match.... what would have been your Fantasy match?

Me Personally.... I think I'd like to have seen Chinaman vs Zebo or maybe Chinaman vs Jeep

    2. If you could roll back time and watch a match which would it have been?

    Jeep Vs Homer for me...

I'll take the Going Light Barney from Boogieman vs. Jeep from NC's. Actually I say Irish Jerry's Gr Ch Wee Hunt (7xW) vs. Barney (8xW 1L)would interest me

I really do think that that Zebo x Chinaman would be an interesting match, or even Santa's Mongoose, or McGee's Panther. Those punishers versus each other...I suppose that way the question of gameness on Chinman would probably be answered. I don't think that Jeep is going to test him...

Chinaman definitely, but against whom. I am not really sure.

I guess it would be cool to see him against Going Light Barney, just since Going Light Barney has won so much, and to see if Chinaman was more than just a mouth (as they might say).

Boots vs I dunno...Colby's Pincher. Both were beleieved to be the best dogs of their era

You don't think Jeep would have tested Chinaman's gameness? Even after that match against Homer? I dunno.... ok what about Mayday (one of my all around favorites) against Chinaman?

Like I say I'd love to see two hard punishers like Zebo and Chinaman roll... but not really a gametest is it? More of a pain tolerance challenge... I think they'd both die afterwards.

I don't think Jeep would've tested Chinaman...although they could've actually went at the same weight. A wise man once told me that Jeep wasn't a finisher, and he would have to be against Chinaman. I don't think that Homer, although game, was nearly as rough as Chinaman either. Mayday on the other hand was a big dog. I think hs chain weight was near the 70's. He would've been mentioned in those punishers that I listed above.

I do know that there was a female dog named CH Rosie that fought (in a yard accident) against Art. Originally Art was contracted into Jeep twice, but was ruined after scraps with Rosie twice during two different keeps. Homer (out of shape as the story goes) was then substituted into the Jeep match and went 3 hours + out of shape.

Yeah I for got all about the Rosie/ Art yard accidents. As for Mayday.. he was a brute of a dog... very big and matched at 65..which is a hoss! And thats why I say in fantasy land where all dogs weigh the same but retain their mouth so we on't have to worry about weights.

Mayday was a game punisher.. in my opinion one of the best dogs ever. He went over an hour into Tant's Cody.. and they say he was screaming for more when Tant picked his dog up. Which I'd give the edge to Mayday against Chinaman for the fact he went some distance and came out on top.

I would have loved to see what Chinaman could do. Historically of course. And I won't even support dog fighting. :)

I like that Torando match up... but I don't think there's a bitch alive or dead that could touch her... Molly bee would have a good a chance as any I suppose... but I think she'd bury Molly Bee

    Aw, c'mon NC, have a heart. ;)

I was thinking about this thread. I can't think of any dogs that I'd like to see "go" per se. But there are a lot of dogs I wish I could've met and laid hands on. I can't even narrow it down to one or two for this thread.

I'll go with Mountain man's Homer and Zebo for my fantasy, and to go back in time i'd like to see Jimmy Boots and Bullyson jr.

Correction, that would be Bullysons son Benny Bob and Jimmy Boots.

I would see Jeep going against Stinson & Stepp's Black Dog (who was said to be a three time winner)

And the match lasted for two hours and five minutes.
