They were talking about this on the Today Show this am. Directv will have a dog channel available for $4.99 per month. Does anyone's dog watch tv? Would you spend $4.99 if they did?

I don't have any problem because although Sadie has been startled by a loud noise on tv or tried to find barking dogs that were on tv she has never watched it and mostly pays no attention to it.

I guess some dogs that suffer from separation anxiety might like the noise or music or something, I don't know. Sadie doesn't suffer from that either. Considering how many times I've come through the front door to find her coming down the steps yawning and stretching apparently she spends a lot of afternoons in our bedroom in her bed in a comatose state, not a state of anxiety.

Do any of you think your dog would benefit from tv watching?

I don't think I'm comfortable with my dog being influenced by the ridiculous things they put on TV.

I'll get it, then I won't have to crate my boys while I'm at work. They'll just sit on the couch and watch tv! Who knew the tv really is the best babysitter.

Meh, I leave the Oprah winfrey network on for Woodrow as he has freak outs if its storms or there's a tire blow out down on the highway. Other than begining to believe he's Morgan Freeman and adopting the Dr Phil motto of "IT'S TIME TO GET EXCITED ABOUT YOUR LIFE!" he's no worse for wear..

All that dog centered advertising means they will just want some expensive new gadget all the time.

Our neighbor dogs bark all the Damn time. So we leave Nick Jr. on for the dogs. I hope they learn new skills from Yo Gabba Gabba!

I tried that once with my last dog. All she wanted was to make her this really complex meal. She even took notes for me.
