Just like my girl. This is EXACTLY what her skin looked like when I fed her something she was allergic too.
Are you just sticking to chicken in the diet?
Also, keep a collar off of it. My girl will also break out from wearing metal too long.

Sonya has this exact thing in the same place on her neck as well as her belly at times. I noticed that when I have her wear her leather collar on for a while, she breaks out. I just don't bother with those bumps though, they seem to come and go and don't really bother her.

No we've been on raw with him for 5 weeks now, he's gotten pork, venison, beef tongue/heart, steak etc
it was happening when we were just on chicken though but at the same time... he was on chicken kibble before which makes me wonder if it could be chicken... BUT if it was he's not having loose stools/vomiting or anything else that would accompany it.

We are keeping him naked till it clears up i'm a worry wart and i worry about everything i can see on him, and it drives my vet and gf nuts becuase if he was black i would never see it...:no2::no2:

We ended up going to the vet we got some antibiotics for a week to see if it makes any difference what so ever... we also got a liquid disinfectant for his skin for the problem areas to try, she is just wanting to try them and see how he fares and go from there... most of all she said that some dogs, whites in particular have alot of problems with diet change, she's noted a few white apbts/bulldogs that have taken up to 4 months transitioning on a diet so time is my friend which i just don't realize i'm at the vet nearly twice a week...

You're not alone! I take my BT as soon as I notice hair loss. When redness shows up, I figure she found a cheeto on the floor.

You're a good bully parent! Whites are very hard to keep but are beautiful and classic.
The black brindles I met last weekend had hair loss as well. So I guess you can't always escape it. The time of year just tends to make everything worse as well.

It could be chicken or any of the proteins you are giving him, some allergies don't surface until a later age. I would recommend starting with just one protein again. Frustrating I know. No treats, no other food whatsoever, just that one protein. If no breakouts, slooowly introduce another in 3 weeks. Feed it one day with your chosen protein then wait 2 weeks to see if you get a reaction.
I'm so impatient so this was the hardest thing for me to do but it did work. It just took a lonng time.
Your beautiful white will clear up!

ya, we'll have to wait till we get a freezer to really put the testing in action as we only have about 20lbs of pork atm, which is what i would keep him on to test for chicken allergy.

I came up with something else that could be happening, I feed raw, and i give him mostly chicken with skin, i've read and been told that grainfed chicken can contain huge amounts of omega 6's and removing the skin can often times clear this up, has anybody heard of this? he gets omega 3 suppliments when fish is scarce but there is no true way to measure the amount of omega 6, i'm thinking of trying to remove all skin/fat from the chicken he gets to see if it begins to subside.
