What about cracker vs nigger Both were hard mouth dogs but when match into each other they both proved to be game as hell

OK, but if there are so many killers that makes for somewhat fewer gamedogs, right? (because they might get killed in the process of proving their gameness) ... and the other question is, how could you tell if a real good "killer" was game too?

That is the big question.... were the hard mouthed dogs truly game? We'll never know.... so you breed a super hard mouth dog to a gamedog with no mouth to produce a better match dog.

As I said.. there are two sides to the "game" Breeding and matching... Alot of folks wanted a good all around dog.. one that was game and had the ability to win in the box. Because again.. it is/was a sport...

I hate to sound like a moron but what is a game dog or a hard mouthed dog. Im new to the whole pit bull scene and have never heard anyone use these to decribe a dog.

Well tom did put all that science stuff on chinamans page on his kennel website , About his cardio being naturally freakish and his twich rate was high or something , So he was just one freak of a dog. I think he woulda lasted if he met a dog that was his equal , There just wasnt much of em

match the harmouth, breed the game dog!
  10. good Q. but first let me start by saying there are no dead game dogs around. all dead game dogs are dead. that said no question gameness gets my vote every time.a good game dog can make a ruff cur quite without a tooth in his head.dogs that cant bite through a wet paper bag but dont stop comin can frustrate a dog to quit.allso a hard mouth is alot easier to come across than a true deep game dog.and i know this to be true,no daggum bookreadin here lol p.s. gameness is always a factor with a good game dog thats been schooled properly, they will weather the storm!!! hard mouthed dogs are nice but its like driving a neon when u can have a caddie.

ok i came on here way late and this may have been said but i didnt read it..
    so here it goes..

everybody talks as if the destroyers only have the "go all out" style that can be "kept out" by a smart, well conditioned, ear dog but were there not hard biters that were smart? i mean it seems as if just because they could bite hard they shouldnt always have to look for the finish early look at it this way Lyoto Machida is a very capable puncher right? but he's more so known for his speed, ring control, and elusiveness but as he showed against Evans he can always strike first and hard and finish quickly...so was there no game dogs like that? hard biting dogs that were smart, elusive ,and game but if need be or given the chance could put an end to the other dog early?or were there any hard biting defensive type dogs? it just seems like there should be ya know...Ali was a counter puncher but that didnt mean he couldnt knock you the fuck out right?
    Food for thought:)
