Sometimes I view the forum through tapatalk but sometimes threads won't open on here so I use the web. This time the forum won't let me due to the above error.

are you logged in with the tapatalk? That's the message you get if you're viewing the forums as a guest and not logged in.

i don't know whether you're saying in this instance you were using the web or tapatalk, but either way, make sure you're actually signed into the forum with whatever you're using.

I know. I'm not logged in. But I've been viewing the forum as a guest for literally years and this is the first time I've come across this message.
