It's so creepy! It bounced off my friend's hubby's head and then was chasing him around. The blurry mark on his head is a perfect star! It's freaking huge too! Ahhh

:nervous: I am sooooo not a sticky legs kinda person!! Maybe that has to do with the one time a girl at work bought some of the frozen berries from the company that comes around and sells stuff to you and they are known for their ice cream.... anyway, I put some of her berries in my yogurt one day, and.... let's just say that one of my "berries" felt funny in my mouth, and when I spit it into my hand, it had legs!

I won't touch frozen berries from anywhere now!! :puke:

my gf says is is a longhorn beetle (she studied entomology) they can bite if you pick them up or threaten them, so steer clear. :) other than that they're pretty harmless. not poisonous or anything.

Yep, longhorn beetle it is. There are numerous species in the US. Just let it go on it's way.

Once again, let's refrain from suggesting the killing of animals. It's as offensive to some of us as the suggestion that pit bulls be destroyed. Thanks.

That is cool looking one. I wish I found it, I would have kept that one. I was walking into my house one night and I had a beetle hit me in the head. It was a pinching beetle, these things are mean too. I grabbed it up with my hand and I got pinched pretty bad. I froze it and mounted it on a card but those beetles can withstand some cold temperatures and it came alive on my card. (I freaked out.) I put it back in the freezer...
