What do I need to know before I stud my dog

Hi everyone I'm looking for information on what would make a good stud. I recently got my newest dog from a neighbor. When we're out people always ask about him but I want to make sure I would be giving them the best before I let him breed with there dog. What are somethings I can do to make sure he's in the best condition to breed. I'll try to upload a picture of him as well.

Unless you are breeding to "better" the breed, just don't do it. If you have to come on a forum and ask, you should not be breeding. Just because people ask about your dog, doesn't mean you should jump on the breeding bandwagon.
