I'm assuming she has no chip? I agree with Steve on this one. If a owner was truly actively seeking the dog, you would have came across something on social media by now. If you do find the owner I would get the back story and make sure the right people know what they did or did not do. I'm not saying they did neglect the dog but if it turns out that they let her get that way then threw her away they don't deserve another chance or another dog. Another crappy thing that happens a lot now a days that you have to worry about is when you do get her treated and fixed up someone may step forward and lie that the dog is theirs. Make sure they have proof. Lots of bad people doing stupid things now a days. But this is the type of world we live in-

(Umm, WTH happened to all the emoji faces we had?!)

You might want to get a ringworm test done too. We found out much later that Tonka had that with the Demodex. It takes three weeks for the culture to grow.

That's good news man. The first pic I saw I thought it was a older dog now I see it's a younger dog. Good for you and lucky for her. I bet you keep her. Once you fall in love it's all over.

Thanks bud. It's been an experience for sure. All we've used is Bravecto, Cephalexin and NuStock and some Happy Jack shampoo. Of course we wormed her, and other stuff.

That's great, she looks so much better. I hope it continues. Is she acting like she feels better?

According to the vet who seen her when we first rescued her, she was a little less than a year old. We suspect she hasn't even gotten her first heat.

She is so cute. Are you going to keep her? Did you get hit by the hurricane or are you far enough inland?

I'm not a betting man, but I'm putting my money on your keeping her. But I'm sure you already know that deep down.
