We currently have 3 of them and yes, they enjoy fruit!

I highly reccomend this website: http://www.opossum.org/

Read up and pay special attention to their diet. Possums are prone to getting Metabolic Bone Disease with an improper diet.

Mine eat a high protien cat chow (32%) Mixed in with plain organic yoghurt, a spoonful of wet cat food, collard greens and 2 grapes.

  4. Thank you so much for that site!!!!! very helpful. She is on a high premum cat food. she gets fresh fruit 2 times a day.

Call one of their councelors, they are fantastic there!!! They can walk you through the importance of their diet, what do do when they get sick, what dewormers are important for them, everything!!!

Try to change her diet asap though. She needs veggies and yoghurt added to her food. You can blend veggies or even try a jar of veggie baby food, mix that with the yoghurt and cat food and then a fruit or two but not too much.

Boiled eggs are good, chicken livers are good too.
