Welcome to the Photography "How To" thread.

Let me start by saying I'm not a Professional Photographer by any means. I do know some things though and am happy to share what I do know. I welcome tips and tricks from anyone on this board that cares to share what they know.

I will start working on a "sticky" thread that will describe the basics of running a camera, i.e., what is ISO, and what is it for? What do all those settings on my camera like "AV" and "TV" mean? You get the idea.

I look forward to getting this going and hope I can be helpful to some of you.

This is a kind of photography thread so I feel it's my duty to remind everyone to read the rules and code of conduct. Specifically the rules about feet. :)
