So for those of you who are not my friend on Facebook and are not bombarded with daily photos of my dogs, I wanted to share some progress and updates on our weight pull adventure.

I have all but decided to retire Summer from competition as it's become clear it's just not her thing. We will keep dragging for health and start agility this weekend. Schuster and Sasha both did very well at the APDA Championships 2 weeks ago (a small, newer organization where I live) and then both pulled personal bests on wheels this past weekend at another APDA pull (2,146 lbs/37% for Schuster and 1,457/31% for Sasha.) It's a fairly difficult track and the competition was decent so I was extremely proud :)

Here are some photos from championships, one from the pull last weekend and a few from our drag session today.

They look great! I'm still dragging away with Squirt but nothing formal. Pig will start drag work in June too. :)

You can get him a harness and drag train at home. IWPA season just ended, but I know they have some stuff in Washington, so keep an eye on their schedule when the season re-starts in September IWPA - International Weight Pull Association

Cascade APBT Club is somewhere in WA and I think they hold ADBA pulls.

All wa events are 7 hours away in central wa while I'm North west. Then the ones in Canada are also 7 plus hours away too

I'm from WA. Where about are you from? I'm near Seattle and have started training my dog for weight pull.
