vommitted stomach acid

    At 3:00 pm. I tried calling two Vets to see if I should give him dinner?

    Regardless, my suggestion would be to 'fast' him until later today.

    It was yellow like mustard.

    Sometimes my dog vomits stomach acid. I don't think it's an issue but let the vet know.

    Fasting is actually a bad idea when a dog is vomiting bile, often this is due to too much acidity in the stomach and food will help. I would also suggest something like yogurt to calm down the stomach and lower acidity.

    I cooked a bland diet for him but then the Vet got back to me and told me to resume his regular diet. So I ate the chicken myself. lol

    I agree. My vet told me in the mornings to give my dog some of his kibble to absorb the acid. It works.
