Is any one out there a Volunteer Coordinator or has been one in the past, Well I could use some advice.

I work for a Humane Society and I am trying by best to organize the volunteers and to have them do what we need with our animals.
It is a struggle to get people to change the way they have been doing things in the past but I feel that I have made it easier for them and I still get resistance. Then a few people change and others don't ad so they animals are getting mixed signals from the volunteers and the staff.

Does anyone have any advice on how to get volunteers to do the job we ask?
They come in thinking we are a petting zoo and this is not the case.
I have been working on and enrichment program for the dogs in our facility that will help them mentally and physically while they are in our care. We want whats best for these animals and to find them good homes.

If anyone has any advice please I could use all the help I can get.
