Hi Steve, thanks. He is adjusting pretty well. We are getting used to all his growls, etc. Tonka can finally chew all his favorite nylabones without getting me too worried.he growls and tries to intimidate her and she just ignores him like she ignores us and every other dog that tries to intimidate her.he looks at me and I say, "she doesn't care that you are growling! She is not afraid of you bully." And I just laughed and he gets this huge grin and surprised look on his face. He looks at me like, "that always works for me!" I told him it is not working with Tonka and I laughed and he starts rolling around being very silly. Tonka did the same thing with her German shepherd friend where we used to live. The owner was surprised he didn't try to hurt her. But he really liked her.

The dog aggression on walks is getting worse because Tonka is picking up on his energy and pulling too hard now too. He charges and growls at yards where dogs live. They are not even outside. He tries to jump walls and get to barking dogs. There is a black DA dog that is a big problem when we run into him. Tonka goes nuts. We've had her for five years and she never acted like this at all.

He had to go to daycare this week because we are getting a new roof and the dogs could not go outside at all. Noises make Teddy really nervous. Just walking on the roof scared him a lot. He could not handle all the pounding and drilling, etc.

If it gets to be too much, walk them separately. Teddy will probably always be that way.

Walk them separately, if need be - my DH did for years, or duo walked the compatible ones, i.e., the non DA Espe with Trusty, OR just Trusty.

LOL, their faces. Teddy is so focused. Roxy would be drooling as she waits! She doesn't drool for human food she doesn't eat but she does drool like a monster for the stuff she does get.

Happy 3rd Birthday Buddy! (Tonka put him in his place a few weeks ago and he has been very cautious during play time ever since. Lol)
