My husband calls Teddy, "Baboso," (drooly bear).

It is strange. I just got back from the Vet. And Tonka weighs 56.5 lbs too. She is 1 1/2 lbs over what we think she should be. But we thought she looked heavier.

image.jpg Teddy in action! My husband was working from home and in a meeting. He asked to make sure the dogs didn't disturb him. I closed the office door. Teddy started pawing at the door. He stopped when I told him to. Then he started banging at the door with his hip to get it open. I've never seen a dog do that before! Tonka rammed the crate door with the flat part of her head.

He is really adorable! How are things going for your family? I know you mentioned in the past that he was kind of a handful.

He is a handful! He is very high maintenance.

He tries really hard to be a good boy.

That was all I had to hold onto for a looooonnnggg time with Griffin. And only I could see it- underneath all the chaos and wild behaviour, how hard he tried to please me and understand and do what I wanted. He did succeed in being a really good boy, and Theo will too!

I tell my girlfriend the same thing about Rocco. He tries to be a good boy, it's not easy all the time. Lol

When he matures some more, Theo will settle down, I'm sure.

Something you may want to consider for him is Rescue Remedy by bach flower essences. They were recommended by my vet and have a pretty high feedback rating from alot of people that have bought it. Gentian essences from bach may help also.

Thank you, we might try that next. We are on our third calming remedy right now.

The nice thing about bach flower essences is that they are totally holistic and can be used as often as he needs it. They are very gentle on their systems.

I agree, the Bach Flower essences might be worth a try. We use them (in tablet) form in the summer and to manage thunderstorm anxiety. They work well for Trusty.

He is always banging his big head into everything too. He uses it to catch the exterior heavy steel security door. It doesn't even seem to phase him. I try not to let it close on either of the dogs. However, he has stopped it with his head every now and then.

LOL! Oh my gosh, that's nuts. Roxy's head grew a lot too. It got so big now... I was looking at her thinking... When the heck did your head get this big?! I don't think it's as big as Teddy's though! Haha

I'm with pitbulldogs on this. Love me the ole fathead. Blue has a giant blockhead compared to brooklyn. And he uses it to get his way lol!!!!!! Weather its to try and open a door, move a chair, head butt me. He bumps it into the washer door everytime it's open because he has to see exactly what ur doing and putting in there.

Teddy sticks his big head in the fridge all the time. It is frustrating because he is not allowed in there but his head pushes next to your legs. We need to train him not to do that.
