They need a foster or adopter by the end of the business day.

A commitment is needed by the end of the day. You have a few days before you are required to pick him up.

Yay, they did not euthanize today. I was on the phone and online much of yesterday
And the same rescue that said we had to take him no matter what, said that we could do a meet and greet and they would have him evaluated and observed by a trainer for us. That trainer will meet with us and do a proper introduction, etc. he was at the Vet this afternoon. They do a full physical and bloodwork, etc. they said they would call me and keep me updated. He was sent to an excellent Vet. (Neurosurgeon) and an excellent Boxer rescue. They will let him play and interact with dogs this week and tell us what they think. I'm thrilled!

    Thank you!
The shelter would not give him more time. He was pulled yesterday around noon. It is the goal of the rescue that he never be kenneled in a shelter again.

Hopefully things work out now that it's not just the shelter involved. I made the mistake of looking at the shelter's shelterme.com page, so many beautiful bully breed in there.

I know, the rescue sent me info on a couple of dogs in great health and great temperaments to be euthanized yesterday for lack of space. They told me that dogs that are injured or have behavior challenges get adopted faster because people want to "save" them and that dogs with good dispositions, etc. get passed up often.

That's awesome, I really hope it works out.
