Ugh...one of the only neighbors who has been nice to us and the dogs, came out of his house yesterday and told us it is okay if Teddy pees on his desert scaped front yard. What a bummer. So basically it has been bothering him that Teddy marks his yard. It is official, not one person on the block likes the dogs.

do none of your neighbors have dogs? I hate that for you guys.. our neighbors have a black lab and our fences adjoin.. so its fun when our dogs and their pup is out at the same time.. they enjoy standing and staring at one another and the black lab comes to our home at times when the owners walk over. . so thankful they all get along.. I can see how it would be our living situation much more stressful if they did not or if the neighbors did not have compassion towards animals and were not dog owners.

A lot of my elderly neighbors have tiny dogs. First they did not trust Tonka who is a complete sweetheart. Teddy scares them as he pulls and growls at their little dogs.

It takes a special kind of stupid to see Teddy and Tonka at the front screen door and proceed up the sidewalk and hang a flyer on the knob while the dogs are losing it. I wanted to tell the guy that the little girls selling GS cookies don't even continue up the sidewalk when the door is closed because they have more sense!

My turn.
SOOO mad at the hubby right now. He picked up the ibuprofen bottle and the cap came off, (full) bottle fell and spilled all over the kitchen floor. (Luckily I had taken 3 of the 4 dogs outside to potty before bed) He blamed me for not putting the cap on tight.
Pretty much any time he picks up something and the lid falls off, he blames me. Yet I can pick things up the same way and never drop anything.
He has dropped BBQ sauce, (Rosie got a bath after that one!) yogurt, pickles.. you name it. But he always says it's my fault for not putting the lid on tight.

I think this will be the last time he blames me. I went off on him pretty good tonight and told him that HE has to be doing something wrong because I have no problems picking up anything.

I tempted to start putting rubber bands on all the containers in the house...from top to bottom....LOL

Ok, so he did come and apologize after he went to bed..

Would have been better if he had not blamed me from the beginning.... but at least he did feel bad afterwards.

I would do he rubber bands to prove a point. And I mean I would put like 30 of them on something he uses often. Sarcastic humor is my best friend.
Once we were getting ready for a big camping trip in Colorado. We had a small travel trailer and I usually did a lot of work preparing gourmet type meals for the road. We could stop and eat in our kitchen. It was really nice and a ton of work getting ready for the trip. I was complaining to my husband and neighbor who were drinking beers.
My neighbor, who had a fifth wheel, said I was crazy and it is not a lot of work and all you need is a can of tuna or a can of soup. My husband actually sat there and agreed with him. So we were on our trip a few weeks later and my husband was anticipating his nice lunch break and asked me what we were having. I pulled out a can of tuna and a can of soup and asked which one he wanted! Lol

Friend's pit is very sick. He has epilepsy and a bad infection. I've been trying to encourage her for a few years to get him on a better food, etc. She would not listen. Now I just mentioned that she ca give him plain pedialyte and she seemed put off. Why won't people consider how important proper nutrition is? Why won't they consider that dogs and people can boost their immune systems with optimal nutrients?

BRAND NEW crate just arrived, squished.... thankfully getting it replaced is easy and won't cost me shipping but I have to wait another week for prime to deliver it with my 'Amazon prime 2 day shipping'

I have at least 3 or 4 of those, they are super easy to use but they do tend to bend easy. Not making excuses or anything just saying.

With it collapsed and the metal stacked like that it would have to have been a machine or a far drop to bend it like that. But yeah these are definitely not the sturdiest crates, but my other crate was for my GSD so it's super heavy and takes up way too much space for my dog who is half the size of my previous one. Eventually I would love to get a couple of those fancy heavy duty aluminum crates, but I am poor white trash :))

Welcome to the club! =))

The way its bent in the middle might of been from packing when they put it on skidz, some times they use tie downs/straps and they torque em down to tight or it could of been dropped, rammed or anything else these shipping company's tend to do lol. It still sucks though. Last year we got extremely lucky and had someone sponsor us last year with the shows and wound up with two new crates, so that was a real blessing!
