I feel you on this. My first dog was a rescue, BBM, and she has had so many health issues. The first year I had her we were at the vet at least once month and it was not cheap. Alas, my husband has also banned me from rescuing dogs (although if left to my own devices I would probably rescue again). On the bright side, researching and meeting breeders can be really fun. I've already begin researching my next dog (still narrowing down the breed), which I won't be getting for another 4 years.575.00 at the vet today... for on going issues the rescue NEVER told me about. Possibly could be spending 200 every 2-5months depending on what type of therapy she may need. I am banned from adopting anymore rescue dogs now. My hubbie will not allow anymore "rescue" pups. Lol- I'm just hoping that she will not need immunotherapy.
Bummer, especially about the dust and dust mites. Hopefully the injection will help so all you have to sell is the kidney. Keep us posted.I got the results you guys... Of course she is allergic to dust and house dust mites!! Something so unavoidable... *sigh* She is also allergic to cats and cat dander! Supposedly she was raised with cats, LOL- Those were the highest marked allergens. Surprisingly no food allergies just sensitivities.
She also tested positive to a resistant strain of staph, awesomeeee.... I still have 100.00 worth of antibiotics I paid for and they are useless. I just ordered a special made immunotherapy injection made for her since it's something stupid like dust and am going to pick up some crazy antibiotic pills tomorrow. I hope the immunotherapy works, would be horrible if it didn't! Now I have to sell my kidney on the black market!!LOL

I am so sorry that you are having a difficult time with it. My thoughts are with you.Today, it's my hate MS day ... body not cooperating, can't get to my walker near the backdoor in the garden to (safely) pick up after Trusty ... (hubby out of town). I HATE poop littered around, I mean, REALLY hate it. Banging head against a wall ... grrr.

in Austria in 2006 during the World Cup. I could not believe how hot it was in Innsbruck! It was never that hot there when I was younger. That's it, Nat - it has been HOT here, temps in the mid to upper nineties, and the flies are having a field day. Because of the fact that the */(§* walker wasn't positioned right by Trusty's dorky owners, I can't follow that same protocol you have (dog poops, poop is picked up immediately). Hubby has changed his schedule and will be here earlier than scheduled, thank doG.
View attachment 33675 We are not gonna stop and smell every piece of grass for 5 mins each. Just keep walking, boy that drives me crazy.
