This may be totally weird but just looking at Adonis' veins makes me want to take blood from him. His legs are a vet techs dream! You can see his veins from his foot all the way to his shoulder and I just want to practice on him lol. I've taken blood on him for a heartworm test already but jeez I want a reason to do it again lol. I want to try doing a jugular on him but I've got no reason to run that much blood work . I'm a blood drawing fanatic, it's so addicting...

Our town finally got a Bylaw Officer that seems to give a shit. There are signs up everywhere about fines for not picking up after your dog, having them off-leash in town, etc. Nice to know that these laws are finally going to be enforced, it's been a struggle for the past few years with owners just not caring because there were zero repercussions.

Diesel, my poodle mix, got his Rally Novice title this weekend, with 90, 91, 89 and finished the weekend with another 90, and got high in class three of those four days.

Thanks :), its been a long roadto get here, when i got him at one the old owners had done nothing, he was terrified of strangers, both people and dogs, and had no manners at all they let him sit on their table while they ate. Now he has one agility title, his CGN and RN, and two trick dog titles, hes 4.5 now lol. And he is in training to be a therapy dog as well.

I watched the Mini Bull Terriers at the dog show, I secretly want one now lol.

Awww how awesome! It is nice to see hard work with an animal pay off isn't it?

    HAHA!
Don't feel bad- Some day I want a mini too.
    My husband keeps telling me
"You are planning on bringing home a dozen Bull Terrier puppies from Silverwood arn't you?"
    I am like
"If someone offers me a dozen Bull Terrier puppies, I cannot promise I wont bring them all home"

but, hopefully while at Silverwood, I will be meeting my next puppy's mom and/or dad =^^=

Yay, I have next Icies dad picked out, he's only a bit over a year old, so I have time.

I saw those minis and I figure those are the perfect size, now to learn more about the breed and find a performance breeder lol.

Well, Minis are just like standards- only much more "terrier" more energetic, more drive, more stubborn.

I am not as familiar with Mini kennels however :/

I have a while to search and research, any dog I get will be for agility and other dog sports, and conformation. So I'll have to meet some and talk to breeders see what training them is like, and what not.

Ive seen BTs do very well in agility and some do horrid lol, seems like a hit-or-miss kind of breed.

The young BT at Silverwood who full force body slammed the judge to the ground then licked his face while walking across his stomach was probably the most memorable BT agility moment I even seen.

Lmao, that woukd be amazing. Hettie ran up into the judges lap, since he choose to sit and judge her class, and up into his face, cleaned it, his ears, his eyes and his head...we still made time lol.

I would love to be able to talk to judges and hear some of there stories some times

Lol, i read a story today about a bloodhound who snagged a can of pop on its way to the ring and no one found it until the judge went to check his bite lol.

omg that is too funny! I can only imagine what the judge thought!

Well i think the judges should have to submit stories and the akc should publish a book, i bet it woukd be hilarious.
