Everyone expects an American Bully to be born thick and stay that way/grow on that thickness throughout its life but thats not so. Not with the majority.

No matter how thick and bully these dogs are at a small age, they will almost all always go thru that lanky skinny stage despite their backgrounds!

Deer legs, ribs showing-thats what sends most American Bully owners on the hunt for food and additives to fatten up their dogs. Most lanky stages start at about 9 months and can last till over a year of age.

They arent necessarily starving, just energetic, and their body and height are growing rapidly, making it harder to gain lbs as actual bulkiness rather they are getting taller-thinner appearing.

Not all AM are huge wide monsters, in the OPs case, I think his dog is American Bully-however he has nice structure thus far, and most likely willl not end up being short and wide as the stereotypical American Bully.

Keep doing what you are doing, he looks good. Beautiful dog-Im partial to the black and whites lol...
