Well I'm often not home until 11:30pm and then I have to take her for a run/walk or some other exercise, and I crawl in bed around 2am, so she usually does too or shortly after. She's just gonna have to eat around the same time every day :/

Some dogs can handle a set time feeding on a daily basis, but generally most dog's on raw especially, will get hunger pukes on a set schedule. You'll just have to see.

I had never heard of hunger pukes before. Thanks for the info. I just looked up more about it. I think that's what's been going on with Hope and Candi a few times. I always feed them in the morning between 6 and 7. Hope and Candi have each started either heaving or actually puking. When they do puke, OMG! The smell! :yuck: The puke is only a little, but it's creamy/slimy, no food in it. I gave candi 1/4c of Orijen last night before bed (she has puked twice in the past week right before I am due to wake up), and no puking this morning. So, I do believe this is what's going on with her.

Is it unusual that it wouldn't start right away? Hope's was more at the beginning of starting raw, she puked twice last month and dry heaved a few more times, but she hasn't since. Candi just started this the past couple weeks, and she's done it four times total now.

Bentley didn't start hunger puking until 2-3 months into eating raw (I believe). I created a thread about it here or on another forum so I'd have to check the dates. It wasn't right away though. He still gets them from time to time when I don't switch it up enough but nothing like it use to be.

My raw dogs have never had the hunger pukes and I feed twice daily, at roughly the same times.

Yeah Zoey use to get them as soon as I began feeding her around the same hours consistently. I typically do always feed at night, but it's a broad stretch between 6 p.m.-1 a.m. so it still works out for her and I.
