    Springview's GR CH Jim

    Sire: Ch.RedJoe Dam: Guests Ginger

Jim is a Great Grand sire of Tyger and was a true representative of the old type working Stafford, deep game and said by his owner to be "one of the best ever to look thru' a collar". He was rolled as a youngster into "Dann's Irish Jack" a good trials dog from Ireland, Jim gave an impressive performance and so his first match followed just a month later which he won in 18 minutes. Two more wins gained Jim his championship, the second one lasting just 2 minutes. His fourth was against Ch.Sam, a 4x winner going for his Grand Championship with Jim losing to a foul* awarded by an inexperienced referee at the 1:05 mark. Jim was matched on a further two occasions winning both, the 1st in 1:37 and the 2nd going 29 minutes.*So is regarded by many as a Grand Champion.

Not promoting, it's part of the SBT history.

Purple, beautiful dog, I enjoy reading their history, thanks for the post and as far as I see here, this is not promoting fighting dogs but showing a piece of history. It's always good to know the history of your breed.

He's probrably of the "it's all how you raise them, my dog's not animal aggressive" ilk. Unless he's just busting balls because no one can join a pit bull forum and not expect the breed's original function not to come up for historical reasons.
