    :rofl::rofl::rofl:

    "Pit" and "Pit Bull" are shortened forms of American Pit Bull Terrier. There is only ONE breed of American Pit Bull Terrier. Just like "Lab" is a shortened form of "Labrador Retriever." You aren't honestly suggesting that people call Golden or Chesapeake Bay Retrievers "Labs" are you?

    An AmBully is not an American Pit Bull Terrier. Just because something is a "bully breed" does not mean it's the same breed. The only real "pit bull" is the American Pit Bull Terrier. Again, that makes no sense. Are you going to tell me that an English Staff is a pit now too? It's also a bully breed

    The staffy ,pitbull ,bull terrier ,am bully,are all the same .Now as far as these aholes who breed bullies these days I agree yes,they messed up the breed due to adding bulldog to make them extra thick and shorter.

    "BULL" because they're a cross of the original bull baiting molossoid dogs, and smaller terriers that were added for tenacity and agility in the "PIT" against other dogs. The fuck does that have to do with Bullies that are created from show-bred AmStaffs, MODERN English Bulldogs (NOT the old, all but extinct bull baiting "bulldogs") and other breeds? :lol:

    No, not correct. Very far from correct. :lol: A Bully is as much an APBT as a Saint Bernard is a Neapolitan Mastiff. That's just ridiculous.

    :lol: I love it when know-nothings come to a PIT BULL forum and tell PIT BULL people to "do their research" on their own breed.

    Considering what you seem to think a "Pit Bull" is I highly doubt you've ever owned an actual APBT in your life kid. :rofl:

    That's the one thing I never understood about the argument. We group breeds all the time but the only time anyone insists that they are "all the same" is the bully breed grouping. FFS it's a grouping based on similar characteristics, nothing else. No one insists that a Beagle and a Basset are the same thing, despite both being hounds with similar backgrounds.

    American Pit Bull Terrier- Bred to excel at dog on dog combat.
    American Bully- Bred to be a family pet and companion. Started with APBTs and Amstaffs as a base, then infused other breeds later.

    How are they the same dog, now?

    :lol: "Bully bread." You mean breed? Yes, little guy, the "Pit" part of American PIT Bull Terrier comes from the fact that they were matched in pits. Very good. That's what I just got done telling you. the "Bull" portion of APBT is there for a completely different reason as the word "Bully" in American Bully. The term "Bully" was coined by AmStaff people who wanted their dogs to appear more "bulldoggy" (over-done, short, wide, heavy boned like a modern BULLDOG), and that term was later taken and used in the breed name "American Bully."

    An AmBully is neither an AmStaff nor an APBT. It was mixed with other breeds, how can it be? Even the creator of AmBullies has said he does not consider AmBullies as the same breed. The only one not on board with that is you. And while yes, you are welcome to your opinion, it's wrong. Though it is fun to watch you try to butt heads with Seven, who breeds and exhibits APBTs, and say they don't know what they're talking about. It's a good thing Boogieman isn't in this thread I guess. LOL
