We breed our own rays to feed our 70+ snakes but here are a few pics of some of my holdbacks. We have Rex and double rex dumbo we have some siamese and well a bunch of other stuff that I don't know what they are lol.

Ooooh my goodness. Love the first one!

Side note, are you keeping them on pine? That's really bad for their respiratory systems.

It's kiln dried pine. Everyone on BP.net use the same. We have around 300+ rats about 40 African soft fur rats and 100+ mice and havnt had a problem. It's the phenols in pine that's bad for them. When kiln dried it eliminates the phenols. Rodent pro uses the same and they produce over 4 million rats a month.

Also I'm not trying to sound like a smart ass so please dont take my post that was lol. I was just telling what I know and what works for us. I'm wont argue that fact that if you use the paper bedding stuff, not sure what it's called but it's made for rats and stuff and it looks like little balls of paper towels lol thats its better. But I know there is some dust in pine and they sneeze here and there

Eh, I still wouldn't use it. But then again, I never raised feeder rats, strictly pet rats.. I'm sure Rodent Pro doesn't care if their rats have crappy lungs ;)

Aspen is just as cheap, and much better for them. The paper bedding you're talking about is better, I used it (it's called Yesterday's News, although there are other companies that make a similar product) for my guys.

nice, I am with kady though I wouldn't use it since the rats are for feeders and pine is no good for snakes either
