awww your brindle bitch is so nice. How is her bite? You should use an equal stud to her with a similar head and make better bull terriers. You should look for a stud with a turned head like hers.

she has a small under bite :no2:

I would definetly do that with her if I knew of a good stud in my area...... i think im gonna wait another year to breed her with either chico or a stud with a good down face like she has, the thing I like about Chico is his chinky tiny eyes, i like his eyes and the shape of her head

my white bitch is slightly under shot, it happens with the dogs with a very curved head, just often come with the territory, by breeding her to chico you will get maybe one really good pup out of the litter and the rest will be pet quality pups. best to get a male that will compliment your bitch more, however what I plan to do is breed pet quality pups until im ready to keep one, than go get a stud elsewhere. dont worry about the under bite, just dont breed to a male with the same issue.

    Cute dogs.

I am different when it comes to breeding than some. To me I would only breed to produce my next dog for a purpose ie work/show. There will always be pet qualities in every litter whether its a good stud for the bitch or not.

I would never try to produce pet qualities if that makes since. Only dogs who I thought would best meet the breed and its standard. Temperament, health, conformation and work ability are what I would breed for with all in mind.

i get most people who want pet pups, thats why i dont mind breeding for it, harder to find someone willing to spend the extra money on a show dog, or one with extreme drive for work if thats not there cup of tea, with that in mind I will do limited registration.

well Chico is going to hopefully tie up with a bitch tomorrow that is white and brindle patched, and her head is similar to his, not as curved and nice as Mias but should produce some really nice pups, I really really really want a red or fawn pup, or fawn or red mixed with black or white, I'm really hoping for a puppy like that, or from mia and chico or Mia and a stud with a nice head like hers whenever i can find one....The bad thing is , I don't have Mia's papers so to find a nice looking stud they might frown on mia because of her lack of papers......

The one thing i noticed about mia even though the shape of her head is nice, it's not as big as Chicos, but I"m sure that will get bigger as the next year goes by, she's just now one year old....

My dogs dont show or work, they're just companions and family members, I just really love them and I've totally been overwhelmed and consumed by the breed, at work and at home I'm always looking at puppies and adults all over the united states and comparing and such, lol...After owning dogs (muts) for my whole life growing up I have never cared about or been so in to my babies that I have now!

Look back in there pedigree. If they have some fawns or reds in there one of them might produce one. You can also pare of of them up with a red or fawn mate or one with those colors in there lines.

My pups sire was almost all red and his dam was white with a spuds eye. He is a fawn and white w/ smutt and his brother was a brindle and white (didn't see the other pups).

Before breeding I would suggest doing all major health tests for the breed at least. That way you know what you are breeding and what you may produce. The white will need a BEAR hearing test, but most people don't test the colored BT's (some do still).

Krista, those mud pie faces are common for Chico, he is a digger once in a while , Mia thank god doesnt like to get too dirty, but when chico sees a patch of open black dirt its like a magnet to him once in a while lol.... i shouldve took pictures of giving him a bath in the back yard with the house, he was airborne and biting the stream of water and drinking it...it was so so so funny
