So I think I did good. I got a Canon EOS Rebel(that's it) off craigslist for $100 today. I've been wanting a nice DSLR camera and I think this will be a good learning camrea! It came with an 18-55mm lens which I'll be upgrading soon and adding more lenses to my arsenal!

What do you camera gurus think? Did I do good? OK? Bad? No matter what, I love it so far!!! It is so awesome! lol

A lot of people have that camera, and now you are on my list of people I am a bit jealous of. LOL.

Seriously though, most people I know who have it, love it.

It is just the Rebel though. A really old camera and has some issues acording to a photography guru that I talked to. BUT for $100, I think it will do nicely and it is an upgrade from my Sony DSC-120...A great camera that takes awesome pictures and it's just a point and shoot!

I can't wait to see what I can do with this one! Maybe I'll sell it to you if you don't hav one by the time I upgrade!

It is alot better because you have all of the data from the file and is not compressed like JPEG, you can make colors pop easier and have a larger file for printing :)

Also, if you have a terribly underexposed or overexposed image, if its a raw file you can fix it :)

An XT was my first slr and I still use it all the time. I carry it with the wide lens attached and keep the tele lens on the 1D.
    Congrats on your new camera!
