Weeeell, I've been debating this for a while now, and since Marsha is getting up there in years, I've decided to 'retire' her from our recreational weight pulling. I never put more than a few pounds of pebbles in a milk jug for her to drag, but she has started to act like her knees bother her sometimes so I don't want to put any more strain on her.

Sooo, I am selling her harness. It is made by Brown Dog Design, its very very nice and still in very excellant condition. It will work as a puppy harness, I'd imagine, but it was made as a full working harness for a small dog. Marsha is 21-23 lbs, and has a 18" girth.

I bought it for $60 (plus shipping) so I'm going to ask for $50 plus shipping. I will consider reasonable offers or trades ;)

I really like that dog! Small body frame with a nice bully-looking head :)

How could I check if this would fit Serenity? We'd never do anything serious but it would be another fun energy spending thing for her to do. Serenity is small herself, I'm just not sure if she's around the same as Marsha.

She's totally worth that amount and more!

pitbullboy2011, thank you! I don't think Marsha has any bully breed in her, but who knows for sure! She's a mystery mutt, but my best guess is chihuahua/shar pei.

Tahlia, I'd bet Serenity is bigger than Marsha. Marsha's girth, which is measured around the ribcage just behind her front legs, is only 18".

Serenity may be bigger, that's true. I'll have to measure her and see. How much does Marsha weigh? If you could convert that to Kgs, I'd be grateful.

I just went to an online converter so I don't know how accurate this is, but it says 18 lbs is 8.16466266 kgs.

Marsha is defiantly smaller them Serenity then! Wow. I can't believe she's that small. So, maybe the harness won't fit! Darn. Also, thanks!

LOL I did that wrong. Marsha's GIRTH is 18, her WEIGHT is 21ish...so lets try this again, lmao...

    9.5254397700 kgs.

Lol. Silly! Serenity is 12kgs at the moment. That is such a shame. I don't think it would work out then, would it?

Probably not. I'd hate to send it to you and for it not to fit.

I bet it would fit Circe, but I'm broke! She is around 20-22lbs.

Freaky, Marshie is the exact same size as my little mini Aussie foster boy. He's be so pissed to be dressed in pink! And omg it would clash with his red fur!
No way I'd have him weight pull though... the way he sits suggests not great hip structure.

Sorry guys. I've been down with the flu and only checking on here randomly.

Ultimate, I did get your Pm and tried to respond but we've had some weather up here...it was almost 70 degrees a few days ago and now its blizzarding. Oiy.

    But, the harness is sold.

Thank you all for the interest :)
