Small batch raw dog food

Has anyone tried small batch raw dog food?

I picked up a few varieties at my new vet today. They carry multiple ice chest's with raw meat and all the varieties of small batch dog food. I ended up getting the lamb blend which includes lamb muscle meat, bones and lamb hearts. I also picked up a package of beef heart and chicken blend as well. My question is has anyone tried this with their dogs?
I probably will be trying this out starting tonight. I am curious to hear what other members think about small batch raw food.

no but that is WAY WAY cool that your vet not only supports raw feeding but sells it! I and most of the people that feed raw on here do PMR so we doing buy pre made

The only drawback for me is the cost. I can do PMR for about 1/2 the price of pre-made food. If you're only feeding one dog and like the convenience I think it's great. If you're feeding 3 like me (one being a Great Dane) it gets expensive FAST.

We've used it for my friend's cat and it worked great. The big issue is, like dalvers said, cost. I'd rather cut down my own meat into portions than pay someone else to do it, personally
