Shy came to me yesterday. My friend knew these people that owned this dog and 3 others and "apparently" they were getting picked up by the pound and they wanted to home them before they came to get them. I did not agree to take this dog she just brought to my house and put her in a crate on my front porch she told me she was skinny and man oh man I was in for a surprise this dog is ALOT worse of then I thought. I am working with the East Tn Pitbull rescue to get her situated, that is if she makes it.
She is 8 months old and absolutely infested with fleas. I have bathed her and fed her and she seems to have perked up in the one day she has been here. She is going to the vet this week. Thanks to the rescue. She still has fleas really bad but the vet is gonna take care of that.

I am hoping that this beautiful little girl will get through this cause she sure is sweet and yesterday she was too weak to do anything and today she has even wagged her tail.
If anyone would like to donate anything for her or for the East Tn Pitbull rescue let me know. I do need some blankets and some doggie sweaters to keep her warm since she has no fat
So here are some pics of her from yesterday
This is from her bath the blood was alot worse then this but I am so disgusted with these people.
and here is some from today

Where are the other 3 dogs? Still with these asswipes?

its 2 other dogs I miss typed. Animal control is taking the other 2.

the blood is from all the flea bites.

trust me there is no way in hell I would give this dog back.

but the guy came over with shot records and did not even seem to have ANY sympathy for this dog at all. HAD I not had a very religious family member visiting at the time I would have some major words with this dickwad

What a sweet looking girl! I can't believe someone would let her get into such a sorry state.

Woot, I may have a thick dog coat for her if you are interested as well as some blankets. It might take me a few days to find the coat though. I also have a spare pink collar that used to be my Delilah's (rip) she could have.

Ohh...she will be so beautiful when she gets some weight on. Thanks so much for taking her in. How could someone let that happen to their dog as they just did nothing?

The collar is a 14 inch but I'm sure you could poke some more holes in it to make it fit. The dog coats were used for my Mtn.Cur when she was a pup so they might be a bit too big on her as well. Just PM me so we can get the details worked out on getting the things to you.

God bless you for taking in this poor dog. I hope that the owners are prosecuted for their neglect. Please keep us posted on her progress.
