I would say the food we feed it the largest contributer to cancers. It's the #1 way dogs die of any breed. I feed a lot of raw foods but kibble is the dogs lifetime staple food out of convenience mainly. Most every dog I've owned if it lived past 8 died of some form of cancer. Breeding bitches end up with cervical or uterus cancer and males with a other. It's pretty common.

It's still good to rule out any genetic issues, just in case. Breeding for excellence in every aspect.

That is too bad. My last Golden Border Collie was 9+ when she was put down. I think she had some form of cancer in the lining of the bladder. We did an ultra sound to see if there was a tumor in her bladder and they didn't see anything. It could have been in her kidneys too though, IDK? She was on a Vet. Prescribed diet and I will always feel bad about that.

    1. sprint intervals with the bicycle
    2. flirt pole / pool. those familiar with the competitve swim strokes should find humor in the analogy the German Shepherd swims freestyle; pit/bully breast stroke; Belgian Malinois butterfly..and back stroke.

How do you have those leashes attched?

-blue/orange lead is a bike tow leash..attaches via simple bracket to the bike frame near the rear axle. great product
-black lead gets draped over the handlebars and only gets used after the dog is detached from the bike or i need to get her attention. choke is there for hand walking/obedience only.
*btw common sense dictates never attach a choke or prong collar to the bike tow leash.
