Should the American Bully be accepted into the AKC?

Well, the AKC wanted to get away from the "Pit Bull" notion, hence the Amstaff. So it's highly unlikely that the APBT will ever be accepted.

Meh, doesn't bother me. I have bigger things to worry about LOL. I show conformation in AKC & UKC, FWIW.

I doubt it. What if the Bully phenomenon fades out in a few years?

What bloodlines or lineage do ambullies come from? I have an APBT thats pedigree clearly states that my dog is 100% Razors edge and after lots of doggy genealogy have traced her back and I can have pedigrees pulled and bloodwork to confirm shes from a wallace lineage razors edge was a kennel name at first before they line bred themselves a bloodline if shes considered a ambully why does my pedigree state different and im also gonna add yes some body could have bred a bulldog or mastiff hell even a Chihuahua into.it to change characteristics but I also know that the APBT has had this done in the past wallace bloodlines bolio old family reds hell even colbi lineage one of our oldest bloodlines is from numerous small terriers and the english bulldog now as for the gotti bloodline I have completely different results in what I believe this dog in my opinion should not be considered as a bloodline of the APBT it was poorly bred the lineage of the bloodline itself is spotty the first gotti dogs supposedly came from good stock with none of the pups turning out like the supposed male and so on I believe my razors edge APBT and I will use this with confidence that she is what her paperwork reads thats kinda like saying amstaffs arent the same as a APBT knowing they got there split in a association dispute leading the.way they were bred to meet different standards for two different associations ive owned amstaffs too and love.the miniature lil fuggers as well

Well being that I really don't see the APBT becoming part of the AKC anytime soon than I think it would probably take a miracle to get the Ambully accepted. But stranger things have happened I guess. I don't have an opinion on the breed one way or the other. I have seen some really nice looking ambullies and some that were so badly bred and such a physical genetic mess that it pained me to watch them try to move. Perhaps over time as more and more people accept them as a breed it may be possible. Does anyone know if there is an actual True "Breed Standard" for the Ambully at this point? Like I said I really don't know much about them.

Sorry my last post was off topic by a lil bit concerning if they should be excepted and yes they should as well as the APBT if by standard they are considered a breed also I was gonna add by my opinion xlarge gottiline and greyline (most dogs with a gottiline background) "bullies" would hold there own breed standards for sure but before they do decide whats considered a" ambully" alot of looking into a breeds ancestral back ground is definitely should be in store so people can put to rest this debate that truthfully causes alot of hate between any "bully breed" owners and advocates

This is true but there is the.same thing with the APBT as well there is alot of various lineages with both of them its not the same as a German shepherd or the Doberman both have been line bred to the fullest to exert the standard the breed is known for its just not that way for all of our "bully" and molasses breeds am I not correct?

well, the UKC offically recognized the AmBully, and wrote a standard very similar to the ABKC's standard for the "standard-class" american bully.

when do you think the UKC will allow AmBullies to compete?

both the ABKC and UKC have AmBully standards. The ABKC allows 5 "variations", but the UKC sticks with one standard.
