Rule Question

Eww crocs. I will accept photoshopped fuzzy slippers, naked blur edits, porno black bars added... photoshopped crocs are where I draw the line though!

Lol this is so funny. I wilI do not beleive in shoes in the house because all the dirty things they pick up outside I do however have house shoes that never go outside and when I don't have my house shoes on I wear socks. I don't like things to touch my feet because having dirty feet makes me feel dirty.
So I shouldn't talk to you about the dark, damp, warm enviornment inside your shoes? (and the bateria that thrives in that kind of enviornment) Or the fact that your bare feet are probably washed a lot more often than the inside of your shoes?

Seriously though to the rule it's not something that will get you in trouble to break but it's more of a eww factor.
Does that mean I don't have to crop the bottoms (or myself even) on all my photos? That would be a relief.
I find some people give me the eww factor, something about their faces- Can we make a new rule?

Maybe we should start photo-shopping Crocs onto all the nekked feet in pics on the site, and see if the rule gets removed after a while of that. LOL

We can poll, which is worse? Nekked feet, or Croc covered feet? :yuck:

No crocs, please....I beg you..no crocs....shudders.....

Actually I do not have to wear shoes often because I rarely go out no need to :) most of my shoes look new my house shoes are open backed and just get worn occasionally. :D

ill be be honest when I see bare feets (sandals included) I more focus on the persons face. The only person I give shit to about bare feets is my husband he's got hair toes and that is gross I don't like to see that on him lol.

Team Peanut - One of my hobbies is belly dancing. I got over the dirty bare feet thing realllly quick once I started learning the dance. :-)
However, with a puppy in the house still undergoing potty training I also have to have my "house shoes"... my lack of germ phobia does not quite extend to possibly stepping in puppy puddles. :-p

You know it's not even just the dirt as much as feeling things stick to my feet. I definately do not like dirt, germs. Also I live in a pretty um ghetto area there are so many yucky things on the floor I am embarrassed to say but it's not uncommon to walk my neighborhood and see used condoms, blood, throw up, spit broken glass etc. those things I would prefer to stay outside.

I can't stand seeing a woman in open-toes shoes and her toe nails are not manicured and polished and her feet are scaly. EW, EW, EW!!!!!

When someone says they own shoes and house shoes I imagin some poor person that never takes their shoes off!
I own a pair of soft sole moccasins I've never worn and a pair of ballet flats I wear at work. There are people that wouldn't believe I even have those though.

I'll admit, I'm not big on feet myself even. I will not touch someone else's feet, no way no how (not even my partner's), and about the only time I touch mine is to clean them. Not too bothered seeing them; usually I don't pay much attention to other's feet (shoed or not).

I've never really walked in an area bad off enough to know about condoms and needles so common that they couldn't be eaisly avoidable paying attention to where you're walking, but there's a lot of the world I have yet to see.
I do know though that I've walked barefoot in the city, country, downtown areas of large cities and small towns, from trailess woods and dirt paths to paved city streets and sidewalks and found many of the things people worry about being barefoot aren't the huge issues they're made out to be (including, but not limited to, stepping on "nasty" or sharp things).

You would puke if I showed you pictures of the shit that goes on around Vancouver's downtown east side and the buildings I manage around that area. Let's just say 4 buildings down is the insite place where people shoot up and in one of our buildings has a needle exchange (more like free syringes, associated things, crack pipes and condoms) in the alley that has turned into a washroom and shooting gallery. It's disgusting but much cheaper to house them in a building (you can thank the mayor for that) than in jails or prisons.

That makes me feel better about my neighborhood. The sad thing is it used to be so nice here but over the past 10 years it's gotten so bad. There are signs people put up that say please no illegal activity on this street. It's right behind hourly motels. These motels were not originally designed for that but over the years they have taken a dive. That is where a lot of the nasty stuff comes from.

Swolf I usually do not pay attention to peoples feet either I focus on heads lol. I just have always been freaked out about things touching the bottoms of my feet and sticking to me so it's been something I grew into always needing something on my feet except when I sleep I have to have no socks on. I have shoes for going out in public house shoes for walking thru my house like to take peanut and let him out and when I am actually inside I am just in my cotton ankle socks they can't even be above my ankles because I feel trapped in them lol...dang I sound weird reading this. When it's hot inside I will not wear socks but outside I can't be barefooted because things may poke me and pebbles sticking to my feet hurt lol.

And here I figured the rule existed because somebody here was trying to get over a foot fetish. Never would have imagined a person being so put off by feet.
