What's up people!!! My names Orlando, I'm a 29 yr old pitbull owner from the Bronx. In the neighborhood that I'm from (Soundview) everybody has a pit. A couple months ago me, and some friends put together a dog club specifically for the breed. We started out with four dogs, but the more we got into conditioning the bigger the club got. I literally turned my backyard into a hardcore dog training facility. Now we've got 27 members, and are still growing.

I'd be more than happy to give you some info, but what did you mean by sparring??? We're located in the Bx, NY. Most of our members own byb dogs, but we have a few Ukc registered. Mainly we focus on conditioning, weight pull, spring pole, fetch play, and our traditional 12 mile group walk. We try to educate our members about the breed and try to advocate against breeding byb dogs. Basic and advanced obedience training is all done for free, and we have a good friend to the club that just happens to be a vet, so our members save quite a bit of money on treatments. We're just starting up so we got alot to learn.

I just want to make it clear that while our club name might be somewhat provocative, we in no way endorse any kind of animal abuse. We love our dogs and various pets, and strive to do our best to bring them to peak physical, and mental conditioning. Not for any malicious purpose, but only to bring the best out of all our dogs. Whether they are byb or CH bred dogs here at Riot House we love and care for them all the same. I've uploaded some pics in the resting and relaxing section of our clubs in house champions

Starting the club was a no brainier, everyone that I know owns a pit lol. When we started the club a few months ago, none of us had any true knowledge of the breed despite years of ownership. We did our homework though!!! Started reading books, articles, forums, and got to talk with lots of veteran pit owners that were able to teach us so much. We quickly learned the difference between filler foods, and good quality diets, Am Staff's, bully's, and real apbt dogs. Most of our members were devastated to learn that their dog wasn't a genuine pit bull, but some byb mix. Lots of our information came from right here on pitbull chat, and then we went on to develop our own conditioning techniques.
