i agree. thieves are super low! the only things i would count lower is a snitch or a child molester!!

I think it depends on who theives are stealing from. The most important thing is to not snitch at all.

  3. I'll not bash your opinion, or try to convince you otherwise..But I would like to ask:

    A. Is your opinion based on a moral viewpoint about the act of dog-fighting? (if you answer yes to the question, please answer the next two..)

    B. Are you against Euthanasia? What about raising and consuming animals for food?

Game Breed Pits are for the most part the best APBT you can find. It is the APBT in it's truest form! You can see the difference with the eyes alone, but beyond that it makes for a better quality dog. I would never put my dog in a dog fight, I don't want to see the dog hurt but I respect that blood in the APBT its what makes it the dog what it is.
  5. good post..very true!

Yes it is based on a moral standpoint.
No I am not against Euthanasia. If it came down to it I would shoot my dog myself if I had the balls.
Hell yea I agree with consuming animals they are delicious.

I'll give you a quick breakdown of my beliefs.
I am not a granola eating tree hugging hippy environmentalist.
I am not a bleeding heart liberal that thinks everyone needs to be saved.
I am not a PETA or HSUS animal rights nutjob.

I like fighting, fishing, 4wheeling, drinking, guns, muscle cars all the fun stuff.
I am not gonna sit here and tell you the dogs are innocent and they are made to fight. I do belief they rather enjoy fighting.
My stance against dogfighting stems from the lack of free will and the lack of understanding of the consequences on the dogs behalf.
Sure the dog wants to fight but it doesn't understand that it can die or have half its face ripped off or legs broken. And the thing that makes me really sick is people get their jollies from watching it happen.

Dogfighting is more ethical than factory farming. Especially if the dogs are treated well outside of the box. The dogs want to fight.

I don't have a problem with factory farming because they are food that is their purpose. Same as hunting I dont agree with it as a sport but if your gonna eat it all the power to ya thats the natural purpose of things I love wild meat myself tried some cougar recently it was down right delicious.
What purpose does dogfighting serve other than entertainment?

Oh man, what a contradiction...So cows are food, that's their purpose so we can treat them like shit until they're dead and then eat them? Are you serious!? Pit Bulls were bred to fight THAT IS THEIR PURPOSE...yet they can't get in the box and have some fun..and be mended back to health, cared for and treated well until the next match and do it all over again?

I avoid saying gamebred with people who don't know pits because they immediately think "Dogfighter" but I use it with people who DO know Pits.
  12. trey01

    trey01 Big Dog

im dead ass serious...why cant they be mended back together MATCHNG IS STILL LEGAL in some places and the REAL dogmen that are out their take care of their dogs after their matches not everybody that matchs dogs is some street thug that treats their dog like crap and just feeds it fights it and breeds it....
dude your comparison to cows and match dogs is CRAP real match dogs are not treated like shit (most)your soundin like a hsus pamphlet

The purpose is to keep the breed the alive, like giving a kidney to a relative it isn't pretty and is painfull but neccesary if you care about it.

You read it all wrong dude. I was saying PIT BULLS SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET IN THE BOX HAVE SOME FUN AND GET MENDED BACK TO HEALTH. I Know how real dogmen treat their dogs...i'm saying that pitlove saying it's ok for cows to serve their purpose but not dogs..that's stupid, because the treatment of the dogs is better than the cows. SO why is he against the dogs doing what they love to do? but ok with treating a different animal even worse...for something i'm sure it would rather not do.

    trey01 Big Dog

now theirs two sides to every story tho.....yea alot of dogs fought in the u.s are treated like crap but not all dogs that are fought are real match dogs...and the real dogmen in u.s the still preserve the breed the right way

    xgarrettxvx Big Dog

haha i knew we were that's why i was like..WHOA! i didn't see your original post.

  19. Thanks for the reply, I respect your stance and appreciate your honesty!

(And while a dog may not understand the first time it suffers pain, I would be willing to bet that the dog learns to understand the possibility of feeling the sting of battle. And I know that alot will fight harder when faced with the threat of injury, are still willing to suffer for the chance at victory.
And in my experiences, I've seen folks who are proud of a dog's performance, but I've never actually seen anyone enjoy seeing a dog endure punishment or "get their jollies" from it.)

I have seen videos where you can hear people yelling "get him" "rip his face off" and laughing and cheering when something extra brutal happens.

I see the same thing in MMA and boxing perfectly legit sports and that makes me sick too.
I have trained boxing and MMA for many years and it still pisses me off when I go to a fight and hear people yelling "break his arm" "smash his face in" I think that is sick. I watch it for the sport, the competition of it not to see somebody get seriouisly hurt when I fight I don't fight because I wanna hurt the other guy I fight because I wanna test myself. Although it does feel pretty good punching someone in the face I'm not gonna lie about that. lol

See but thats where our points of view differ. Sure I may hate where it came from but I don't hate what it is which is an athletic, driven, loyal dog that can excel at many different things other than dogfighting.
I will probably never own a gamebred APBT but there are plenty of kennels that breed them for weight pulling etc. that I would love to get one from. So if theyre not gamebred does that make them less of an APBT?

Yea I might be a hypocrit but like I said I am not an animal rights activist I love dogs and to be honest I could care less about a cow they are my food nothing more to me. My dog is my companion my best friend she gives me undying loyalty and its my responsibilty to protect her from anything that may harm her.
Can you tell me you honestly tell me you view your dog on no higher level than a cow?
