I thought it was time that we made a "reference list" of sorts for ear cropping vets in the US. We get tons of threads here asking where to have puppies cropped, so hopefully this is helpful to lots of people. I will continue adding to the list as more vets come in, and will try to add reference pictures for each clinic as I get them as well. A lot of these will be pictures of Amstaffs because that's what most of my friends have, but a vet that can crop an Amstaff can also do a crop on an APBT or AmBully.

Dr. Koster is fantastic. The whole appointment takes 2 hrs, so you get your pup back when they're a little woozy. They do a lot of Danes, Boxers, and Dobies, so she is quite adept at the procedure. My pup Rhodie was done there, and I can't complain!! He's still in the cup, but I can tell they are perfect. :)

  4. although it's good to know a good vet that does it well. i would encourage most folks not to crop their ears at all. it's no need for it, and you can put that money into something else the dog can use. I also discourage this type of thing because of superficial aesthetics.
many of the ignorant sheeple think that you have a fighting dog if their ears are cropped. Yet, that's not true in most cases. Hell most legit dog fighter don't crop their dogs ears at all. If they are smart enough not to do so what does that make the public that so often want to do that to their pet bulldog. something to think about.
hell England/uk stopped tail docking and ear cropping years ago, in one capacity or another. yet folks in the U.S.A. finds the smallest things to bitch about pointing the finger at anyone but ourselves. Yet, when they want to do something it's ok... smdh

Rhodie, 15 months, Millstone Animal Hospital in NJ. Beautiful crop. He did get a little scar tissue from managing to rub one ear on the crate, but they're perfect. Cannot say enough good things about this vet. Rhodie's sis was also done there. IMG_E3943.JPG Nalah, 12 months IMG_4648.JPG
