Wow that's awesome, I need to start hitting up hunters. I did get some free rabbit meat in my order because I mentioned them to some other MN people.

It's funny.. it's like they know when my freezer is getting low. I won't get any response from my CL ad for weeks at a time, then boom, just as I'm thinking "Man, need to fill up the freezer!", I get an email. I ended up tossing a bunch of the chicken (stuff that was too small for my guys to eat or too high in sodium) and it still filled up all the empty space in my freezer!

    Here's mine:

Time to clean out the freezer??? I am looking for old freezer meat for my dogs. I feed a raw diet.

We are looking for out dated, freezer burned, unwanted meat. However it cannot be seasoned.
Beef, Chicken, Elk, Moose, Deer, Birds, Fish, ETC. anything you would like to shed!
    Thanks Much

How big of a freezer you running for three dogs Kady? I have a small chest and standup, they are both pretty packed but probably 6 months worth of food in there, plus some people food but I'm only feeding 1 dog, plus a cat and two ferrets.

Hmmm.... I just got a response to my CL ad asking if I was willing to pay anything. I have yet to be asked that. Anyone here ever pay for old freezer meat??
Oh not Kady but I have a 19cubic ft chest freezer for 3 dogs.

    This is mine:

Title is: Hunters & Processors, or anyone cleaning out a freezer!

I am interested in deer meat, organs, any leftovers you have. I feed my dogs a raw diet and venison is one of the best meats you can feed. If you are cleaning out your freezer in preparation for the season, or if you just have leftovers from a recent hunt, I'd be glad to take whatever you are planning on discarding off of your hands. If you have any other meats, chicken, pork, beef, etc., I can take that too! Freezer burnt or older meat is perfectly fine, as long as it's been kept frozen!

I live in XXX but am willing to drive a bit, especially if it's a large quantity of meat.

    Thank you!

    I have a 16.5cu ft. upright.. and want/need a bigger one LOL.

Do you guys ever get negative e-mails about feeding raw or get flagged? My ad I run doesn't specifically mention raw, I just say I "make my own" diet. That's a fantastic haul kady!

There are already about 5 other people posting the same thing in my area on CL, I just feel like it would be a waste of time, for me..

Only once.. someone told me I must be running a puppy mill and giving all the "bad meat" to the dogs LOL. I've been flagged a couple times, I just repost it.

Items Wanted or Farm & Garden.

There are 3 or 4 others in my area.. I still get a ton of stuff! The biggest thing is that you have to respond quickly if someone emails you.. generally speaking, they're just going to throw it away, so if you wait a couple days to respond, they're going to either do that, or contact another person. My email goes straight to my phone so I try to respond almost immediately.
