thanks MrC, i appreciate that. it seems some of the Europeans ive encountered have that whole " if you dont know you dont need to" mentality, so they make it kinda rough to learn. of course ive heard of AC/DC, but that was never even mentioned. LOL

its probably just they didnt speak english too well :D....most of those russians cant wait to tell you how good their dogs are, nothings a secret when your doing nothing wrong i guess and dmitris a nice enough guy.

if i was starting all over again in the dogs id be looking to get dogs off ac/dc yard......its enough to make an old man quite jealous :(

Clueless... I hope your trip across the pond went well..... All this Bully talk got me curious.. I was curious if the overdone... short squat and fat bully dogs, huge heads, wide chests(i.e. Gotti line, RazorsEdge,Greyline etc etc) are as popular in the UK as they are here in the States.

hello sir, thanks yes my trip went well apart from the weather !....70 % buiseness and 30 % pleasure but the pleasure was enough to make it all worthwhile :D
shame i didnt see your previous post before i left as it would have been great to hook up......that said, theres some damn long roads you have over there i just dont have the patience for long drives !!!

in answer to your question, the " bully " and " amstaff " as you call them....are not widely known over here....
i have to be honest, this razorsedge/gotti line etc i had never heard of until i came on this board :o....you must remember the staffordshire bull terrier is a highly popular breed here,i guess that would be the equivalent to your own amstaff maybe ?.....the amstaff as a breed is virtually unknown here although some folk when selling litters do advertise their dogs as amstaff but only to try to avoid the apbt laws here......but personally im not aware any " true " amstaffs have ever been here, certainly not in any numbers......as for the " bully " i have to admit i dont really know what they are :o....they look dreadful to me....

yes we have dogs heading that way in shape not as bad as some ive seen your side but yes the street element gangster kind of mentaility is starting to hit the youngsters here through the rap thing i guess and so we see more and more apbt,s and crosses heading that way unfortunately.....but certainly nothing like as popular as your side....yet...give it time though :D

The Staffordshire Bull Terrier ya'll have over there... I've seen them in pictures... smaller than our American Staffordshires, but I've never actually met a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

Are they from game stock as well? Or is matching them as unheard of as matching Amstaffs and Ambullies is over here?

    but these are rare nowadays.
the working lines of stafford were/are
    dublin red,psycho,stormer,flynn

the dublin red and flynn lines are said to originate from old english kennel club stock.

also its worth remembering on the whole the short fat useless staffordshire.....and the sport/working type.....on a national scale are split probably 90%/10%........10% being the workers !!
