Questions about my new puppy?

Hi I know my puppy isn't a Pitbull puppy, but I was wondering how can I get him and my adult dog Luna to play calmly together instead of rough playing. He has grabbed on to the side of Luna's face without me knowing because her fur is black and broke the skin open. I want them to be able to just play calm together and possibly be able to lay with each other. The other question I have is that the passed few days my puppy has been hacking I'm not sure what it is or if it's another werid sound bulldogs make... Blaze is always grunting or making some other funny sounds like a pig Lol. I will post a picture of the side of Luna's face and a recent pic of Blaze. 2017-08-16_12.23.44.jpg IMG_20170823_114310.jpg

When does the coughing occur? Also, they shouldn't be playing or together without supervision.

Agreed, always watch them at play, and intervene when it goes in a direction you don't like. Step in, separate them, rude puppy gets a solo timeout for a bit, repeat repeat repeat. And then repeat some more. It will take a while, but he will learn that rude play behaviour means end of playtime. Consistency and patience is key.

    He is super cute!

I don't leave them unsupervised, but I do have 3 children as well so there might be a second or minute I don't have my eyes on them. They only have access to the living room and kitchen an it's a pretty open area. The hacking sound he was making I just ended up taking him to the vet for it. The vet said it could be from allergies and that if he was still eating and drinking the same an still active that he wasn't worried about it.
