Puppy
Hi everyone,
My 4 year old male Pitbull terrier has randomly broken out in hives, twice over the last 4 days. The outbreak lasted roughly 24hrs each time. He takes Apoquel everyday and is updated on shots and vaccinations. He doesn't seem to be bothered by the hives - he does scratch them, bite or paw at them. He doesn't appear to be itching more than normal, yet I have been giving him Benadryl when outbreaks occur.
In the 4 years, he has never had an outbreak even while exploring the woods (NE Ohio). We have not moved/ relocated, changed his diet, nor have we added any new plants/ tree's to our back yard. Not sure what is causing the outbreaks because this has never happened before. (Note: My 2 yr old Shih Tzu is NOT experiencing outbreaks)
Any feedback or recommendation's will be greatly appreciated!
