Question about the foot rule - why? lol

Little Dog
So I kept noticing references to feet in some of the photo posts and was thinking to myself what the heck is that all about. So I decided to go check out the "rules" a little more thoroughly and noticed the last rule was no "nekkid" feet. I kind of giggled to myself about both the rule and the use of the term "nekkid" and then my curiosity overcame me so I HAD to ask. Why the rule? It's kind of cute and funny but is there an actual reasoning behind it? A funny story? A foot phobia perhaps? Please share if you can. :-)
