Question about Blue Ridge Beef

    I'm switching from garbage kibble (blue buffalo) to raw as I experienced with it after discovering my mom switched to raw for her Standard. Brooklyn's poop is nonexistent and that's a huge plus as blue buffalo seems to go in one end and come out larger at the other end.

    There seems to be a lot of folks that don't like the blue ridge product saying they feed other raw alternatives. Is this the crap the government pumps with steroids and other chemicals, or are you all able to buy direct from another source? Outside of blue ridge beef, my knowledge of "raw" feeding is nonexistent. What is the alternative to BRB if it's not truly "raw." Last time I checked, the "beef" in the local Publix isn't exactly perfect either.

    Is there a thread for the perfect way to a raw diet? I'm about to spend a lot of money on a few cases of BRB and want to know if it's not going to be all she needs.

    Raw is much more than just feeding some beef. It needs to be balanced, 80% meat, 10% bone, 10% organ. Please do some more research before switching. There's plenty of info in the Raw Feeding section.

    That's why I'm here. Trying to get as much information as I can before making the switch. I did a "beef with bone" for two days, then normal kibble for two days. She gets bone marrow bones a couple times a week and kills the bone eventually. Outside of that, I have no idea. Organ? Might as well be foreign to me. It's tough to get information on the app as I'm more of a website person, so I'll spend the day reading tomorrow when I can at work. Just looking for quality discussion and what I've seen so far is opinionated arguing, lol. I'll attempt to find the quality threads tomorrow.
