chico violently killed a possum this morning, i let him and mia outside to potty this morning, and i was inside in the bathroom by the back door, and I heard him growling short growls like i've never heard him growl before, i ran outside and he was shaking the hell out of this possum, he dropped it for a second, quickly snatched it back up shook it violently and it was dead....he's all up to date on his shots and he's on advantage multi for parasites.....should i call the vet and see if they want to see him?

As long as he's UTD and isn't injured, I wouldn't make a special trip. If you notice anything out of the ordinary, get him in.

is he injured? they can be nasty things. my friends bullies regularly get into it with coyotes, they get a little scratched up but they are always fine.

he doesnt have a scratch or bite on him...i called my vet this morning already lol, they said not to worry especially if he's not injured, he's all up to date on his vaccines and possums rarely ever carry rabies... i searched on the internet and found this also

Err sorry about the luck. Thank goodness he wasn't hurt and is UTD on shots. I always do a quick yard check before letting the dogs out because there are lots of critters around and accidents happen fast.

Saw your later post on rabies. True, possums RARELY carry rabies, according to my vet, who is also a wildlife vet. However, you want to check on the vaccine for leptosporosis, which is a sometimes fatal disease dogs can get from possum pee and poop.
