He is one awesome little guy and one heck of a little fighter and can keep up with the big boys (homing pigeons) He has a great personality and makes a wonderful house pet too. Racers use this breed for droppers.

That is an awesome bird! They look alot alike except, the GO is missing feathered feet and the coloring and head gear is different.

Thanks for sharing. (sorry my pic is so small)

It was funny cuz I bought him for like 5 bucks at the feed shop. He was so tame it was amazing.
I always liked the birds that had feathered feet, I used to have a bunch of fantails that had the feet like that, and some of my rollers had it.

No prob :) any excuse to talk about birds Im down lol I think I am going to make a trip to the feed shop and see what they have, its always something new there.

You'd like some of the trumpeter breed pigeons then too. Some have exstensive leg/foot feathering.

I also have a pet pigeon. Her name is Angie. She is a homer cross(I think crossed with a birmingham roller). She's disabled and doesnt see very well.I will see if I have a picture of her and post her up for you. She's a lovely light tan/grey.

I like the trumpeters but their foot feathering is just so hard to keep clean, I had to do weekly baths with some of my fantails it was annoying lol plus their feathers make it to hard for them to fly, and I like me some flying birds lol

Aww, I want more pigeons so bad !! I had a pigeon who a homeless man attacked and he was missing his whole eye and couldnt see very well in the other, I loved that bird, he did very good for a disabled pigeon. You should post a pic! I wish I had more of my old birds :/ I am in contact with a guy who breeds all colors of the arch angels and they have been my dream bird just for looks, I cant wait to sell this place and set up a little aviary and get a few birds again.
