    April,
Have you contacted any breed specific rescues in your area?

Hopefully they will get back to you, fingers crossed. Keep trying and be persistent. Rescues are overwhelmed, so sometimes emails get missed and phone calls don't get returned and get lost in the shuffle.

How are things going with Allie today? Can we offer any training advice to help your until you can get her into a rescue?

    Hi...

I have, and can't take in another dog, so I decided to comment on the fact that it does dogs a great disservice to get them primarily for 'safety', especially when training and money is an issue.

Thank you for you comment Worg. This was not my choice. My daughter had good intentions. We have both learned a valuable lesson.

Hey April, just checking in with you. How are things going? Any luck on rehoming Allie? I'd take her if I didn't have young ones, but children and reactive dogs don't mix well and I recently got my arse handed to me for trying to make it work, which resulted in a very beloved dog being euthanized.
