On the dog whisperer ( i know he's a joke) but i was watching because this show was about the 'most dangerous dogs' he asked viewers to vote on which dogs they thought were the most dangerous
    1.'Pit Bull'
    2.German Shepherd
    3. Rottie

I knew i shouldn't have watched it, it really downed my mood.

But he defended the breeds and his choice of 'most dangerous breeds' was
'it's all how you raise them'
'the most dangerous dog depends on who makes the dog dangerous'

And than i was like ehhhh:no2:

"next time you hear about a dog attack on T.v.dont blame the dog, or it's breed blame the person in that dogs life'<-- that i do agree with.

However, I do agree with that last sentence.... well, the person, and the dogs genetics.... which result from the person breeding the genetically unsound dog. :(

It depends how you see that. I can tell that to someone and they will say "yea its cause people put them in the pits"

Not surprising, its a popular vote, so the most popular belief will always win out, thanks to the media and its portrayal of pit bulls, this is hardly surprising.

making a dog HA is all in the person who raised that dog but the dog being DA is nothing to do with the person at all

I agree with this, plus all the media statistics are wrong. Half the these "pit bull" attacks are not from real APBTs. Its really irritating. I am surprised GSD was #2 because I always thought people feared the rottie more and the statistics even though normally wrong are higher for that breed vs. GSD.

Hasn't anyone watched the little rascals or rin tin tin?  Sheesh crazy people.

Not sure if I believe that. Some dogs just have a genetically unsound temperament all together causing them to be HA. It has a lot to do with how they are raised, but its not always that way. You can't change genetics.

It still comes down to the person because there the one responsible for the dog, so if there dog is not stable its there job to kill it, or keep it out of the public eye and BSL! So it may not 'be how you raise them' but its not the dogs fault there is BSL.

anything born from nature has the ability to be good or bad......to think otherwise is naive.....

dogs are born from nature......some ( hopefully most ) will be born good.....some ( as few as possible ) will be born bad....hence why man usually breeds from good individuals

just like humans,monkeys,fish,trees......some will be good examples some will be bad....thats just the basic law of nature.nobody will change that.

occasionally you will get a bad apbt....just so happens a bad apbt is worse than a bad dog of most other breeds.
