pet chicken subsection

    I asked the same thing. She said that if they get the eggs before 40 days, the bones havent hardened and are soft. SO you just eat it!

    Me too! I'm in!
    Just bought a new house on an acre, well, the house is 140 years old but you know what I mean. One big drawback. The place is riddled with Wandering Dew & I'm loathe to spray a load of noxious chemicals around the place so I got too thinkin about chooks, inspired by Polyface Farm..
    Any hoo, I intend to knock back an area, cover it with some heavy sheeting & "cook" it in the summer sun for a couple of weeks. After that I'm going to fence it & put some chooks in to finish the weeding. The idea is to do it section by section & plant desirable things after the chooks have done their work. Hopefully a happy, sustainable garden.
