I adopted Onyx at an animal shelter where adopting out pit bulls into the city limits is illegal. They had several pits(labeled pit bulls) for adoption, but as I lived in city limits I could not adopt any of them. They told me that Onyx was a boxer/lab mix. Since I adopted him everyone says, "nice looking pit" and I had a landlord say she couldn't rent to me because he was a pit.

I have had boxers and I've had pits. He acts like a boxer. He boxes when he plays. He is obsessed with watching squirrels/animals outside and he does not lock on at all when he plays tug of war....

Just coming to see what others opinions are.
He's my dog regardless, but I'm just curious... Considering a DNA test
